· The ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit Autocomplete Extender control allows you to extend the ASP.NET TextBox control.

· The autocomplete extender control enables suggestions based on the user input and the results of a server-side call.

· The extender can work with a web service method or a page method marked with the [WebMethod] attribute.

Instead of hardcoding the names for autocomplete the real thing would be to get them from a table of existing records.
