One of the big announcements that came out of PDC last month was what’s coming in Silverlight 4. If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend you to check it out. I predict that within a year most new forms-based applications built on the Microsoft platform will be built using Silverlight (or should have been if the developers knew better). In fact, right now I know of several large projects that are hurting for Silverlight-knowledgeable resources. If you want to ensure that you have Silverlight as one of the tools in your developer toolbox, have a look at Tim Heuer’s roundup of Silverlight material from PDC09. It has pretty much everything you need to get up to speed quickly on Silverlight, and especially Silverlight 4 which adds a ton of huge capabilities to the platform.
