ASPAlliance Invited Author Guidelines
ASPAlliance article submissions must pass through editorial review before being
published on the site. This document covers the guidelines for invited, compensated
authors.
Payment Methods
All articles will only be compensated via PayPal to the address on file in the author's
profile.
Article Compensation Guidelines
- Articles can be on a variety of topics provided they are related to software development
using Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
- Full articles should be at least 2000 words to be eligible for payment.
- Product reviews by invited authors will be compensated at a rate of $25 per review.
- Honoraria length is based upon the final, edited version of the article, and does
not include code listings. Payments are made within 60 days of the article's publication
date, via PayPal, to the email specified in the author's profile.
- We cannot hold payments, nor can we make payments to third parties on the author's
behalf. All taxes and filing requirements are the responsibility of the author.
If you do not have or cannot get a PayPal account, you are welcome to publish your
articles uncompensated.
- Not all articles will be selected for compensation.
- ASPAlliance retains an exclusive right to publish any compensated work for four months from
the date of publication, after which time, the author may republish elsewhere; however,
ASPAlliance retains the right to publish the work non-exclusively in perpetuity.
Authors who choose to publish their work elsewhere within the four month period
will not be compensated.
