Introduction

This comprehensive compendium provides a broad and thorough investigation of all aspects of programming with ASP.NET. As I am sure many of you are aware, this book is a complete revision of Wrox’s Professional ASP.NET that was released last year and written for the Beta 2 code of the .NET Framework. Wrox decided that due to the release of the long awaited 1.0 version of the .NET Framework they would fully update and revise this title.

Thanks to the great feedback Wrox received about the first edition they were able to completely revise the text by rectifying errors to provide, not only a good quality compendium, but also a title that contains code fully compatible with the 1.0 version of .NET.
