Introduction |
This article can be considered as the extension of my
previous article Understanding Internet
Information Services - Part 1. In my previous article we dealt with various
components of IIS (Internet Information Services), Authentication
methodologies, etc. In this article we will go through the different modes in
which IIS operates. We will also cover the concept of Application pools and
describe it in detail.
