Introduction

Data Source View is a very important feature that SSAS count on. We have previously explained how to create one. In this article we will explain how to do day-to-day tasks with it.

It is important here to note that that DSV's can be used to enhance your physical data model and to repeat the fact that changes made to DSV do not impact your underlying data sources.

My previous article, SQL Server Analysis Services - Creating Data Source Views, is a definite prerequisite for this article.
