Richard holds a BS in Enironmental Science from Allegheny College, and an MS in molecular biology from the University of Alabama. During his scientific career studying pollution degrading bacteria and in medical research, Richard began programming websites as a means of scientific communication, and programming databses for organization of samples. His first site was produced with MacWrite and NCSA Mosaic. In 2000, Richard made a career change to being a full time web developer, specializing in e-commerce and database driven sites. Today, Richard works mainly in ASP.NET, SQL Server and related technologies.
