Johnson Smith is from Chennai, capital city of Tamil Nadu, the southern state of India. The programming career started for Johnson Smith in 1994, when he was 14 years old. Starting with GW-BASIC. Most of his earlier coding was on DOS. With the start of his College Degree Course in B.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) at Madras University, there was a drift towards Fortran,COBOL,C and C++ (under both Unix and Windows NT Worlds). Then there was a migration to Visual Basic and Visual C++.
After his graduation, Johnson Smith was in Web Development with Microsoft ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server for almost three years. Currently Johnson Smith is sort a interested/busy with Microsoft .NET development in C#, ASP.NET, and Whidbey. Perhaps his WebLog at would be explaining better about his career objectives, future plans etc.
