Chuck has a broad range of experience in electrical engineering
stemming from background in military and general aviation
communications, industrial SCADA systems, wireless PCS, LMR and
point-to-point microwave communications system design.
Having held a B.S.E.E. since 1985, he made a career change in 1998
from the wireless and telephony sector to software development. Having
began programming in 1981 on early CP/M systems with 8080/Z80 code,
his visual programming experience began with VB in 1991 when writing
applications to assist in radio propagation design of wireless systems
using the early U.S.G.S. 3-second terrain data.
Since then he has developed industrial and utility applications for
natural gas transmission, public water distribution, and the chemical
industry in addition to specific applications for the law and medical
professions as well as VOIP. The earlier applications were written
using VB, Delphi, or Oracle Web development. Since the inital .NET
beta he has been writing most applications using C# and stored procedures.
He is now a software developer building C# Win/Web/Networking apps for
the health care industry coding against MS SQL SVR and Oracle
databases, is a private pilot with 3 daughters and a son. Codes and
reads all the time and flies when he can. |
