In this article, Scott discusses the concept of Extensible Output Caching in ASP.NET 4.0 with the help of relevant screenshots and source code. He begins by giving a brief overview of the existing Output Caching mechanism and then delves deep into Extensible Output Caching with special reference to Common Output Cache Providers.
