If you're in need of a simple email bounce handling solution, then this article will get you going as quickly as possible. This article will show you how to quickly configure BoogiePOP Enterprise to retrieve bounced email messages from your POP3 email account, and log the bounce data directly to your Microsoft Access database. I'm using Microsoft Access 2000 for my database, but the principles within this article apply to any database system you may be using.

There are 3 steps to configuring BoogiePOP Enterprise to log to your MS Access database. They include:

  1. Creating your email bounce log table in MS Access
  2. Configuring BoogiePOP Enterprise to connect to your POP3 email bounce account
  3. Configuring BoogiePOP Enterprise to connect to your MS Access database

This article assumes that you have Microsoft Access 2000 installed, and that you have some level of expertise with it. You should also have BoogiePOP Enterprise installed prior to starting. You can download BoogiePOP Enterprise from the BoogieTools website at

If manually creating your own database isn't appealing to you, then you can download the Access 2000 database we used in this article. Download the zip file from here, and unzip the email.mdb file to your local hard drive.

Dear sir,

i am describing below my requirements and my experience with boogietools

case: i have an clasic ASP written website, i want to track bouncing mail address when i send newsletter to a list of mail id's.

my Experience : i installed "BoogiePop Enterprise Setup" and followed steps in
but unfortunately i could not get Pop Log under tree structure i can see "Bounce Service" and "Smtp Service" links over there.

my assumption : what i think is when you set up all settings and installed "BoogiePop
Enterprise Setup" on server then it will save all bounced mail id's to Access Database which have fields described in your article.

i am not sure BoogiePop is helpful in my case or not.
please guide me if i can use BoogiePop to fix my website.
also please describe me its price and subscription process.

my mail id is

RAKesh vermA
