Conclusion

In this article an XML Web Service is defined as a software service exposed on the Web through SOAP, described with a WSDL file and registered in UDDI.  Typically, Web Services are utilized to solve data transfer problems and to create platform-neutral interfaces for distributed systems.  I hope that this article has provided the necessary information to the readers for understanding and implementing a Web Service.
